Why is the Media giving Biden a hard time about being realistically cautious about the Flu Epidemic?

Because in his position he should be trying to keep the public calm and life as normal as possible, not potentially starting riots. We have to remember that the average American is an idiot, and when they hear someone in power speak like this, the may very well lose their marbles. Remember the black outs in NYC a couple years ago? A couple of hours with no power and everyone acts like animals. If our politicians do not stay cool under pressure, you can not expect the public too. Also, the economy is in the crapper already, and hes telling people not to travel or send their kids to school or go anywhere where there are a lot of people. Its his job to be a sound voice of reason for the concerned public, not exciting them with his opinions. Plus he is no medical expert, leave the opinions on how to deal with this to the experts, not the politicians.
