Wall demolision cost?

My mom wants to demolish this wall In our house it's like 18 feet Long or so. It has all sorts of electrical wiring an air vent about 4 feet in. It's on the second level too. so the first question is: can we demolish it without causing dmg to the support system of teh house? #2: can we do it on our own? (we've got some basic skill in our family) and third: how much would it cost for a dude to come and do it for us?
